Dr. Louis G. Casagrande
Dr. Casagrande has been a high school science teacher and has been tutoring students since 2002. He has an exceptional combination of scientific, educational, business, and consulting experience, which allows him to focus on the needs of your student and to develop their full potential.
He is a highly-respected chemistry teacher at Westfield High School, where he has taught all levels of chemistry. At the Advanced Placement level, Dr. Casagrande's students have accrued an average score of over 4. Prior to coming to WHS in 2005, Dr. Casagrande taught chemistry and physical science at Summit High School. He is highly qualified in Chemistry and Physics and has his teaching certificate in Physical Science.
Dr. Casagrande has been tutoring students in and around Union County since 2002 in all levels of chemistry and physics (including introductory college level), and physical science as well as algebra, geometry, precalculus, and introductory calculus.
Dr. Casagrande received his BS in Chemistry from Brown University and Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry from Stanford University. He worked in industrial research and development for over eleven years prior to entering the teaching profession, and is the author or coauthor on almost thirty professional publications and conference presentations.
